ASCII curtains

Designer Nieke Sybrandy has come up with a great concept with her ASCII curtains. Many of today’s blog kiddies and Nintendo Wii-heads are too young to remember the great old computer BBS systems of the late 80s and early 90s, with their crude-but-endearing ASCII graphics and ancient green and amber color schemes. These curtains are a direct throwback to those days of yore, but in a much more sophisticated way. Stylish, organic-looking, but realized with the creative arrangement of old fuddy-duddy computer code.
